West Bengal Police Recruitment Board Recruitment 2021: WBPRB invites online application from eligible candidates for the post of Wireless Operator and Wireless Supervisor Technical Grade -II West Bengal Police Telecommunication.

Vacancy:  1325

Post: 

1. Wireless Operator - 1251 (Male -1126 / Female - 125)
2. Wireless Supervisor Technical Grade -II - 74 ( Male - 67 / Female - 7)

Wireless Supervisor Technical Grade

Age: 21-30 Years for Wireless Supervisor  and 18-27 years for Wireless Operator  as on 1st Jan 2021 (Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidate of west bengal only)

Qualification:

For Wireless Supervisor Technical Grade -II:

1. Bachelor’s degree with any of the following subjects: Physics or Radio Physics or Electronics and Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology from any recognized University

2.The applicant must be able to read, write and speak in Bengali language. But not applicable for permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

Wireless Operator: 

1. 12th Pass conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or equivalent Examination from any of the recognized Boards in Science with Physics and Mathematics

2. The applicant must be able to read, write and speak in Bengali language. But not applicable for permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

Selection Process: 

Preliminary Examination (screening test) followed by the Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Final Competitive Examination and Personality Test.

Application and Processing Fees: Rs 275 /- (SC/ST of West Bengal only-Application fees is NIL)

Note: The personnel of West Bengal Police and Kolkata Police having requisite qualifications and age are eligible to apply for the post provided that no departmental candidates shall be allowed to appear in the Competitive Examination more than three times.
