Supreme court gave Prashant Bhushan two days time

Supreme court gave Prashant Bhushan two days time to reconsider his defiant statement before pronounce judgment on the issue. Supreme court already found him guilty of the contempt of court because of his two tweet, in which Prashant Bhushan criticized the supreme court judges.

Below are the two tweet by Prasant Bhusan and because of these tweet, he is facing the heat

But today he refused to apologies and said tweet are 'expressed my bona fide belief" and quote Mahatma Gandhi had said in his trial

"I do not ask for mercy. I do not appeal to magnanimity, I am here, therefore, to cheerfully submit to any penalty that can lawfully be inflicted upon me for what the Court has determined to be an offence, and what appears to me to be the highest duty of a citizen,”  - Mahatma Gandhi

This case could be a turning point for Indian judiciary, corruption is rampant in judiciary and not much has been done to address this issue. Prashant Bhushan case may be high profile but as far as comman man is concern, most of the people are afraid to approach to the court as they are aware of the heavy cost they have to pay to get the justice because of corruption and they are not sure whether they will get the justice in their life time or not.
